Funders

Age in America is funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

Age in America is based on earlier funding provided to Libraries for the Future for project planning by the National Endowment for the Humanities and by the Petersmeyer Family Foundation. Age in America was originally developed by Libraries for the Future as a component of its national Lifelong Access Libraries program, funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies. It is now a special project of the Re-Imagining Age Project, Inc, a national initiative that uses history and culture to promote public discussion on age and aging.

Age in America is based on earlier funding provided for planning by the National Endowment for the Humanities and by the Petersmeyer Family Foundation. The project complements LFF's Lifelong Access Libraries Initiative funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies.
